Not all alike PT4

The Chitauri came in droves through the tesseract portal that was activated by professor Erik seeing as he was still under the control of Loki's scepter even though Loki himself no longer desired any of this. Loki stood by the you and the Avengers in an attempt to fix what he'd done but although the Chitauri lacked the brains to carry out such an elaborate scheme they certainly did not lack the brawn nor the magical resistance. Loki discovered swiftly that his powers were useless against the Chitauri only pissing them off rather then doing much damage luckily the other Avengers could take care of the lot including a newly healed Hawk eye. Loki's soul purpose was to get his scepter to the portal to close it however that in itself even for him was a feet but with you by his side the path was swiftly cleared, your ability to fly gave you the advantage to watch as well as clear the path for Loki right to the portal. You watched as he leapt over piles of rubble using his magic to clear away anything to large in his way leaving you to attack any on coming Chitauri, everything was actually going smoothly until in your peripheral vision you caught sight of one of the flying contraptions that the Chitauri rode on far too late. You gasped in surprised realization as the creatures blast hit you square in the diaphragm sending all the air out of your lungs while white hot pain seared through your body right before you crashed through the side of a sky scraper. You moaned with a weak gasp before coughing hysterically with the warm, wet feeling of blood under your outfit you placed a hand just below your chest to find the wet stickiness of your own blood heavily saturating the fabric. You felt blood trickle down the sides of your mouth as the edges of your vision began to blur, pain still coursing through your body as the faint far off voice of Hawk eye caught your ears followed by Loki also screaming your name.

"_____! ______! Oh god!" Hawk eye gasped as he knelt beside her immediately pressing a hand over the wound to her diaphragm in an attempt to quell the bleeding.

"_____, Stay with me..." Loki was now kneeling on the other side of _____ holding her hand in his as he instantly swatted Hawk eyes hands from the wound then placed his free hand on the wound instead.

"Hey! What are you doing to her?" Hawk eye barked suspiciously eyeing Loki as a slight greenish glow appeared under Loki's hand.

"If you wish to save her then shut up and let me work!" Loki barked back his chest tensing as he watched you slowly fall unconscious, he wouldn't let you die...he couldn't let you die! You were just giving in to the peaceful darkness when heat, searing heat followed by pain brought you crashing back to the conscious world with a scream your back arched off the ground and your wings beat erratically underneath you. You could feel flesh mending itself back together, bones popping back into place while organs that had burst were regenerating all in mere minutes all while a voice whispered next to you, one you recognized, a smooth deep voice that belonged to Loki.

"Stay with me...please" You heard him beg before everything receded back into the blackness

You didn't know how long you'd been out for but finally you could feel your mind re-entering the conscious world. You could hear far off voices along with the steady sounds of equipment of some kind including the steady beeping sound that radiated from somewhere right next to you yet it all sounded like you were underwater. You felt a moan slip past your lips as you opened your eyes giving a wince at the brightness of the room as it seemed almost too bright but you managed to shift your head to the side that's when you realized someone was there. You looked down to see that Loki was lying with his head on the side of your bed resting on his folded arms clearly asleep as his raven colored hair gently fell into his face you wanted to move it aside so you lifted your hand but regretted making any movement at all as a strike of pain shot through your chest. The jerk you gave roused Loki from his slumber causing him to give a startled noise before his eyes grew wide and he stood from the chair he'd been sitting in to hover over you slightly.

"____? Your awake!" Loki exclaimed with great relief in his voice as he gently laid a hand on your head to stroke your (H/C)(H/L) hair.

"Loki? Did we win?" You inquired, as it was the only thing that popped into your head

"Yes, I shut the portal...it's over" Loki explained moving his hand to cup your cheek then stroke it with his thumb.

"How did I...?" You began but coughed before you could finish the sentence the action sending sharp pains through your chest.

"I healed you but the damage was so immense that I could only do so much...I'm just grateful it was enough" He admitted staring into your eyes with his brilliant green ones

"Thank you...Loki,” You rasped feeling your throat slowly starting to close

"Hush now, get some more rest...I promise I won't leave your side" Loki assured you

Your eyelids felt heavy again as you slowly closed them Loki's eyes were the last thing you saw before drifting back off. Loki hadn't lied he remained by your side until you were strong enough to get back on your feet that's also when he informed you of his own fate. Loki was not to return to Asgard instead he was banished to earth to work with S.H.I.E.L.D to fix the damage he'd caused but most of all he was to redeem himself to the humans in whatever ways he possibly could.

"I'm glad you’re not leaving" You stated as the two of you sat on the heli-carriers watchtower to observe the sunset. You leaned your head on Loki's shoulder just giving in to your feelings as the urge to take Loki as your mate grew in your mind.

"As am I...____ why do you show such affection to me?" Loki wondered looking down at you

"I don't know to be honest...as I told you before your the only one who has ever treated just as is not as a monster and I don't see you as the monster you claim to be" You explained

"But I am a monster _____," Loki stated sorrowfully as he hung his head

"Loki, you are not a monster...your just different and that's not always a bad thing" You assured him as you gently tipped his chin up with your thumb and index finger to get him to look at you.

"How could you be so wonderful?" Loki wondered meeting your eyes

"I told you, we're not all alike,” You stated with a smirk before pressing your lips to his in a gentle yet passionate kiss.
