Sirius knocked over the chest and a resounding clang filled the corridor as the contents spilled. James shushed his friend.
“Oh yeah, because I did that on purpose,” Sirius hissed sarcastically.
“Would you shut up, we don’t have long before people will be going to their next class!” Remus shushed them, beginning to gather the scattered supplies.
They were in the middle of hooking up an elaborate prank trap, but not far from a frequently used hallway, so they had to keep quiet. But they weren’t doing a very good job.
