SPOILER WARNING: THIS CONTAINS SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR THOR 2 YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
The funeral for Lady Frigga had been an emotional few hours for the entire city of Asgard but as usual you were the only one who even bothered to think of the one person who besides Odin was the closest to Frigga, Loki. You knew he was now an enemy but despite everything he’d done you knew he still loved Frigga dearly and you still saw him as a brother even though you weren’t blood related. Your heels clicked along the cold stone of the staircase that descended into the dungeons with fond memories running through your mind of Frigga teaching both you and Loki magic then how Loki used that same magic to protect you as a child. You didn’t agree with what Loki had done but in the end he was still like family, a family that had just lost a mother who Loki was closer too then almost anyone else so you still felt obligated to check on him. You reached the bottom of the staircase then walked over to Loki’s cell nearby where he was sitting in one of the chairs Frigga had gotten to make him comfortable with one hand draped over the arm and his other propped under his jaw line.
“Hello brother,” You greeted but he didn’t move from his spot
“Sister, why have you come?” Loki asked with his green eyes shifting to look at you
“I wished to ensure you were alright,” You stated kindly
“Really? Well then you’ve wasted your time cause as you can clearly see, I’m fine” Loki stood up from his chair to get closer to the barrier separating the two of you then gestured to himself as he boasted with what you could tell was a fake smile. Your magic was always very strong allowing you to see beyond illusions or false hoods especially those Loki enjoyed using so it wasn’t hard to tell that Loki was lying.
“Please brother, don’t lie to me when you know you can not” You pleaded
Loki tried to maintain his stoic manner but your soft gaze and warm smile eventually had him sighing heavily as his eyes softened to you before he averted his gaze entirely. You watched as the illusion slowly began to fade causing you to cover your mouth with a gasp when you saw him.
“Now you see me sister” Loki stated sitting on the ground in the far corner with his hair in disarray, he wore a loose set of clothing that was dirty and the cell was disjointed clearly from a fit of anger.
“Oh brother…” You whispered before using your magic to open the cell and get in next to Loki. You took a knee right beside him as his emerald eyes watched you, slowly filling with tears as his last few defenses began to waver then crumble from the stress of everything that had happened. You cautiously wrapped your arms around Loki who resisted your gesture at first but soon gave in, leaning into you as his finale wall broke causing him to break down in your arms. You gently rubbed soothing circles on his back while cupping the back of his neck as he sobbed into your shoulder not caring that probably half the dungeon was staring or that he was receiving disapproving looks from the guards, all he cared was that you were there with him. You had no problem just letting him grieve you just wished you could do more for him other then just simply providing comfort to him but eventually that small effort had him calming down.
“Better?” You asked as Loki finally pulled away to look up at you with his green eyes now red from crying.
“Perhaps” Loki admitted clearly feeling embarrassed. You smiled down at him with his face cupped in your hands then your gaze drifted down his form to the blood dripping off of his foot.
“Alright, now hold still” You stated moving down to the injury. Loki had clearly stepped on something while he was taking out his anger and grief on the furniture in the cell, a trifle injury but it probably still hurt.
“Ha-ha, still fussing over me…?” Loki trailed off as he watched you beginning to tend the wound.
“I’m your sister, not by blood perhaps but still…that’s my job” You stated with a warm smile as you gingerly cleaned it. Loki knew he could simply heal the meager wound heck it didn’t even really hurt but he decided to let you take care of it cause even though he’d never admit it he liked it when you took care of him. After cleaning the wound you used your magic to heal it before moving back up beside Loki who leaned his head on your shoulder with your arm wrapped around him, your thumb rubbing soothingly up and down his upper arm.
“I miss her,” Loki admitted in a quiet tone
“I know…I do to” You agreed sorrowfully

Loki x Reader - Comfort
"Come on, Jane!" You pulled your coat tighter around you and willed her to move faster. "Don't you remember what Heimdall said? We don't have a lot of time."
She fiddled around with moniters, pressing buttons and splicing wires together. "I'm going as fast as I can!"
"I still don't see why you want to go see that je-"
You glared at Darcy. "He's not a jerk, he has perfectly good reasons for everything he's done." She put her hands up in surrender. Jane was working on a teleportation device. It wasn't perfect yet, and couldn't go long distances, but it was what you needed. You were in a relationship with the god of mischief, the one and onl

Melancholy (Loki x Reader)
To them, he was a disgrace.
He was a fallen prince, a son borne from the blood of their enemies.
He was a traitor.
You refused to believe it, of course. Because how can a man with such a dark heart hold you gently at night? How can a god so evil exhaust all his powers, time and time again just to come and visit you - a lowly Midgardian?
My brother speaks true, Thor had said. But that was before he has met you. You are his final redemption, dear (y/n). His saving grace.
His saving grace.
"That brute brother of mine is right, love."
You snapped out of your thoughts. And it was then that you realized that Loki is not reading anymore. Rath
