Lucifer was lounging in Bobby's living room with one leg crossed over the knee of the other, both arms extended along the back of the couch while his head was tipped back when Castiel appeared in the kitchen. Lucifer had to admit that he wasn't feeling quite like himself today so instead of opening his eyes to see Cas he simply listened to the sound of the other angel's footsteps as they approached closer to him, eventually stopping a few feet from him.

"Lucifer?" Cas' voice was low and gruff to the point of almost being grating at current

"Yes, little brother?" Lucifer retorted although his voice held less Sass then he'd intended it to

"We should get going, I've found you a new hideout,” Cas stated finally eliciting a response for Lucifer to open his eyes.

"Very well" Lucifer sighed heavily before extending a hand for help up

Cas gladly took it to help the archangel up however he found it strange that Lucifer needed help in the first place. Once up Lucifer swayed slightly as his head began to pound causing him to close his eyes as his hand came up to press against his temple. Cas furrowed his brow in concern for his big brother as he attempted to steady the archangel then gently pressed his hand to Lucifer's forehead revealing he was warm to the touch confirmed by the slight flush across Lucifer's cheeks.

"Are you alright?" Cas finally asked after pulling his hand from Lucifer's forehead

"I'm fine, now we should go..." Lucifer trailed off as he felt another wave of dizziness wash over him causing Cas to come along side him to steady his balance. Cas helped Lucifer get to the new hideout but as soon as they landed Lucifer could barely stand anymore and heat had begun to radiate from his body leaving it up to Cas to help get him to the bedroom where he sat Lucifer on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong with me?" Lucifer wondered aloud as Cas swiftly began to look him over, as it turned out there was a small gash on the front of Lucifer left calve. The wound was nothing to worry about but when Cas got closer it revealed that there was a strong odor that was similar to poison wafting from it. Cas was now convinced he'd found the reason why Lucifer was acting so strangely, he'd been poisoned however unlike humans who would be crippled by it an archangel was merely inconvenienced by poison basically it made them have symptoms similar in nature to a flu for humans. Cas gave a sympathetic smile to Lucifer who looked miserable already as he sat on the edge of the bed, he'd been there before when he was a younger angel but as far as Cas knew Lucifer had never been poisoned before. Cas gently helped Lucifer back to his feet just long enough to put him in a pair of boxer shorts and a loose fitting T-shirt before pulling back the covers of the bed to help the archangel into it. Lucifer was so worn out already that he didn't have the strength to fight Cas as he maneuvered him into the bed then pulled the covers over him and he would have went to sleep right then if it wasn't for the painful twisting of his stomach as he curled up trying to elevate it to no avail. Lucifer felt the bed shift as Cas sat on the edge of it placing a cool cloth on to his forehead that made Lucifer hum with delight at the coolness on his heated flesh.

"What's happening...to me?" Lucifer rasped out

"I believe you've been poisoned luckily though I remember how I was treated when I was in the same state" Cas assured Lucifer as he patted the archangel's temples then his forehead with the cloth. Lucifer gave a disapproving moan, he could recall Michael explaining how poison worked on angels and archangels in the past and it made him not look forward to the next few hours nonetheless though he tried to rest eventually falling asleep. Lucifer jolted awake a couple hours later as his stomach churned then lurched he scrambled out of bed into the washroom barely making it before he chucked his cookies into the toilet. Lucifer moaned pathetically as his throat throbbed and his stomach continued to lurch forcing him to keep his head over the toilet with his hands braced on the seat for balance. Lucifer truly felt like he was going to die when a pair of hands suddenly pressed against him, one on his shoulder while the other was wrapped around to his chest gently pulling him up from where he was hunched over the toilet. Unfortunately as soon as he was slightly up right Lucifer felt his stomach lurch again forcing him back on his knees as more foul tasting substance heaved it's way up from his stomach. Once finished Lucifer brought an arm around to press his forehead to while closing his eyes he suddenly realized that one of the hands that had helped him up was now rubbing soothingly along his back while the sound of Cas' voice was making soft soothing noises in his ear.

"Cas..." Lucifer rasped the best he could with his throbbing throat, he was so embarrassed to be seen like this

"Hush brother, are you feeling better now?" Cas asked gently

Although he still felt like, pardon the expression hell at least Lucifer didn't feel like throwing up again so he gave a weak nod towards Castiel. Cas helped Lucifer to his feet then flushed the toilet before easing Lucifer back to bed settling him in while giving him some cold water to drink but hurling his stomach contents had completely exhausted Lucifer to the point he immediately passed out again however this time when he came too it wasn't what he had expected. Lucifer slowly opened his eyes as the feeling of warmth surrounded his body not uncomfortably either it was just warm then he realized it was water, he looked groggily around revealing he was in the washroom again but now he was submerged in a tub of warm water. Confused he looked to the side to find Cas kneeling beside the tub in sweats and a T-shirt gingerly running a cloth gently over his shoulders.

"Cas?" How out of it had he been for Cas to undress him, fill the tub then place him in it?

"Stay calm Lucifer, You were shivering with cold so I decided to bathe you" Cas explained in a gentle tone as Lucifer realized that Cas was holding his head from behind.

"Thank you" Lucifer whispered as he allowed himself to be completely over taken by the kindness of his younger brother.

"I'll always be by your side Lucifer" Cas assured him just before Lucifer gave in to sleep once more

The morning sun was the next thing to rouse Lucifer from his slumber, streaming through the bedroom curtains it woke him up. Lucifer slowly sat up finally feeling rested he also felt far better then the day before, his stomach was settled, his head felt clear and he was neither hot nor cold it felt great but he still didn't bound out of bed as his muscles and joints were a little crabby from the day before. Lucifer was sitting on the edge of the bed when Cas walked in with a fresh glass of water in his hand.

"Your up, how are you feeling?" Cas asked with a small smile on his face

"Better, thank you" Lucifer stated as he gingerly took the water in hand

"You look better" Cas' smile grew as he watched Lucifer take a swig of water

"I'm a little sore but that'll pass" Lucifer elaborated slightly after taking a sip of water

"I'm glad, just take it easy today and you should be back on your feet by tomorrow for sure" Cas explained

"Your right" Lucifer sighed before crawling back into bed conjuring up a book to read as Cas fussed over him

"There that should do for now, just call me if you need anything" Cas told Lucifer before turning to leave the room

"Cas?" Lucifer called out before he could fully leave causing the angel to turn around

"Yeah?" Cas retorted

"Thanks again little brother" Lucifer thanked him with a small smile on his face

"Of course, we take care of each other" Cas stated with a beaming smile as he left the room

Lucifer chuckled then went back to his book.
Just a little fluffy Casifer where Lucifer finds himself ill and Cas needs to help him
